Skin Care Cream: What You Want to Know About the Best Products Available Today
Skin care cream today isn’t a luxury for royalty and hip Hollywood celebrities; it’s a mandatory item for optimum skin health. UV rays are more toxic than ever, and as smog levels rise and the ozone depletes we are left unprotected and damage occurs, causing in some cases skin cancer. Skin care creams and sun block are a great way to interrupt this damage, and they hydrate your skin as well, keeping it looking younger for longer, and making you less prone to issues such as age spots and burns.
Who Should Be Wearing Skin Cream?
In a nutshell, everyone who goes outside during the daytime, or in other words, anybody exposed to damaging UV rays for any period of time. If you think this is alarmist, consider first that many local news casts give “Smog Reports” during the weather segment telling people with more sensitive respiratory systems to avoid exposure to the air outside. Do you think that we should worry about one factor and not the other? They are the same problem, only we are all susceptible to damage from harmful UV rays. The highest risk groups are young children and babies, older folks who’s skin just doesn’t handle the beatings it used to, extremely fair skinned individuals, and people who have previously suffered some form of skin disease or cancer. Skin care cream will help keep your skin safe from the sun, without harming these sensitive groups.
What Should I Look For in a Skin Care Cream?
The most important factor in a skin care cream is going to be its ability to effectively protect your skin from the environment. Every other factor is secondary, and in my opinion it doesn’t matter what else the skin cream does so long as it offers adequate protection from the sun. The sun is the number one damaging element your skin will face, and much of the anti aging creams are little more than moisturizers and great UV protection rolled into a high end product for women. That isn’t to say that men can’t use the product, it is simply that they are made mostly for women. I really wish there were more moisturiser for men made for and marketed to men, men are much more likely to ignore the needs of their skin and don’t take as seriously the damaging effects of the sun.
